Ryan Silva was born and raised in Turlock, CA and is the oldest of five children. His family spent 15 years in Utah starting a business and a church, and while there he received his Associates in Networking and Programming from Utah Valley University in 2004. From an early age, Ryan was fascinated by figuring out how things worked. When he was 11, he took the money he made working on his family’s dairy to buy computers, take them apart, and rebuild them. 

Ryan went to Cebu, Philippines on a contracted job to set up servers and computers for a company with a branch office overseas, and while there he met his beautiful wife Crisnel who worked in the Graphics Design department. Ryan and Crisnel got married and have two children: Lyka and Lance. 

Ryan has operated tech companies since 2004, but it wasn’t until 2016 that what is known today as IT Surge officially began.
